Some more reference to look at.

This is the USB Hub, Uni Ball Pen and Cobra Buckle.

Gloves
The gloves pictured are the correct ones for the show, however the current version has more of the grip material on the plam and will need to be modified.
Other mods needed are remove the logos and make a new cuff strap that is larger, possibly out of neoprene.
Also the grip material on the palms and finger tips need to have a metallic green applied to them.
The same paint is also misted over the rubber on the vest.

Upper leg greebly
IDed as a Nintendo Gameboy Advanced SP Cartrage Game Case.

O2 LED display and gauge.

Gauge Graphics

Neck Ring

And as a bonus the Preflight Check List.
At this time some of the lines have not been verified to be 100% correct since the one on display ar SDCC was sprayed over. mad.gif

Once all text is verified I will make corrections and repost.

Right on Eric, thanks!

I was compiling the same list with pictures. Do you mind if I edit your post a little here and there with comments and then add some more photos?

Over at ASAP one of the members, davecfprez, got in touch with Galactica's Costumer Designer, Deborah Everton. He submitted costuming questions to her that she was gracious enough to answer for all of us over there, and with permission from Dave (and citing credit to him and Deb, thanks to both of them) here is the Costume related Q & A re: flightsuits.

>>>>

COSTUME QUESTIONS !!!!
FLIGHT SUIT VESTS
On the flight vest shoulder pads what is the black
material with the circular design all over it?
and
what is the source for the vest black (rubber?)
material

Humm...not sure where I got that. I'm sure it was
some plastics or rubber vendor. I'll try to find the
source in my files.

GREY MUSCLE SHIRT AND BLACK(?) TANKTOP SHIRTS UNDER
THE PILOT SUITS

Are the tanks custom made or off the shelf? color:
black or brown. Do the tank tops have a tag on them
still and if so, what does it read ?
(We understand that the black tanks are worn
backwards.)

The Tank tops and muscle T's were made for the show.
The charcoal grey tanks were not worn backwards....I
designed them that way! The label reads "Deborah
Everton".

I'll copy, cut and paste the next question in its
entirety:
I guess my two-pennies worth would be the most
obvious (and unfortunately least likely):
Do you still have the patterns and can we get a
copy?

I don't have the patterns. My cutter/fitter might
have....I'll email her and ask.

FLIGHT SUIT SHOES
hero boots? Were they off the shelf, a run of
prototypes, a knock off companies version of a
popular shoe? Modifications to the shoes?

The closest I have found are Nike Max Air
(basketball) Future Flights. But the bottoms are not
the same, and the pattern on the side is different.

Ha! like I could afford 200 pair of Nikes!!! We found
a basketball shoe at Payless (I think) and built the
boot around the bottom of the shoe.

SILVER ARM AND LEG CUFFS
What kind of material? Sommers? Does the silver
cuffs extend into the sleeves?

The "fabric" is Sommers . The "cuff" was a bit of a
design problem. We ended up using an elastic finish
on the sleeve and custom fitting the cuff with to the
actor with a "ka-chink" thing closure

GENERAL QUESTIONS -
How much painting/airbrushing highlights were done
on the suits and where?

Lots of airbrushing ...mostly for shadow as the
material had enough highlights. I can't remember
exactly where...it was a "feel" thing for the
prototype. After that, the talented artists on my
crew worked their magic!

Dammit Danny, I was literally about to post this, have a window open to ASAP for cut & paste and everything. LOL

Thanks for posting this though, it's not a lot but there's some hope that she'll give us some better answers and possibly a pattern in the future.

Thank you so much for the wealth of research info! I just got into BSG this summer and I hope to make my flight suit someday soon.
To that end, can you please tell me what the width of the silver cuffs are at the wrist and ankle? The way I eyeball them, they seem to be 2 1/4" and 2 1/2" respectively.
And while I'm at it, as i can't get a hold of a Nixon dork, what are the dimensions of the watch's face?
