The rebels used girls in red hoods to transfer explosives from one person to another. The mask of the soldiers look somewhat wolfish with the snouts.

Basically the moral of the story is that you cannot make a wolf into a man. Wolf =51 LittleRed = 0

Screen cap from JinRoh Anime Movie:

(IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v625/lostncybr/Anime%20Costumes/Jin%20Roh%20Wolf%20Brigade/PDVD_028.jpg)

This was my second project I worked on for my aprentiship for membership into Hi-Impact.

(IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v625/lostncybr/Anime%20Costumes/Jin%20Roh%20Wolf%20Brigade/anime11b.jpg)

Not too bad, I think. {bragging} (IMG:http://www.scifihero.net/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

From this and the Lord of the Rings Moria Orcs (my first project) I learned a lot.

Well, its not a great project start off with if you never vacformed before, but if you have access to some, hockey armor, a german WWII helmet, a C3PO mask, some pastic sheets or large "tupperware" cases, and a heat gun, 1" dia PVC pipe, flat black spray paint (preferably primer) you could give it a shot to make one that will be passible.

The helmet you will have to drill 5 holes on both sides of the helmet. The mask will be the C3PO mask add the cheek plates which has 3 hole in it with glue or ahesive foam tape, cut two eye tubes from the 1" dia PVC pipe, it should be about 1" long. The mask muzzle can be made from a dust/painter's filter mask, will a rubber hose attached to the end. Heat the plastic and bend into the shape you want, but you will generally be limited to simple curves unless you can vacform it.

Attach the armor you make for the chest and shoulders and attach them to the hockye pads. Paint the whole thing flat black. You can light the eyes red with super Bright LEDs. Use a pair of mirrored sunglasses and glue them in the inside of the C3PO mask and PVC tubes.

A replica WWII German helmet is available at Collectors Armory (a bit pricy), and some are high-density plastic;

http://www.collectorsarmoury.com/ep5sf/20t.../c60009-p1.html

but were do you get a replica Maschinengawehr 42 (in plastic that is; some days it just seems easier to get the real thing)?

When I worked on my Jinroh I picked up a vacuformed helmet from "packrat-toyz" for $30 plus shipping. It was a lot easier to drill the vent holes on the side then a real steel helmet.

http://www.packrat-toyz.com/Paintball/WWII...l%20Helmets.htm

My helmet turned out looking like this.

(IMG:http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i46/dsw_777/Costumes%20and%20Props/Jin%20Roh/46_gear.jpg)

You can find some tutorials online to make a basic looking MG... Not 100% accurate, but I was rushed for time.

We used an old WWII german helmet and vacformed over it, so technically its a little bigger then the real helmet, but we needed the extra space for our big heads and to fit the mask under, plus we wore black balakavas.

The machineguns were pvc pipe and resin copies of the grips and vacformed bodies.

It might help a little to be a little specific about which exact model of helmet was used since there were 3 models of helmet used by the German army during WW II. There's an M35, an M40 and an M42 that appear similar with minor differences but doing some reading up it doesn't look like the differences would amount to much.

I'm not sure, it was one we got off of ebay several years ago. I don't think it had any rivets in the helmet if that helps.

Is there a better detail on how to make the mask I know where to get the parts but don't fully understand how it all goes together.
