hey guys...

I posted over in the Sg-9 forum about some ideas that I have for a T-shirt for all those interested..so you can check that thread but I'll list it below also

Black T-shirt
left front logo will have the F-302 patch with "Stargate SG-1" above it and with "901st Space Fighter Squadron" below it..
the back of it will have our patch design reallly big!!

As soon as I can check with some of the local tshirt shops I'll see if i can get the design made up and see how much it will cost....

let me know if your interested, and I will put this on the front burner.....It's been an idea for a while and I'm trying see if it will pan out some...

Thanks guys

I love the idea of tshirts and would like to see what everyone thinks for design, as well.

Sounds like a winner to me! If you need a commitment to buy, I'm in for AT LEAST 2, personally. More than that, I'll have to wait and see how my discretionary finances hold up smile.gif . Design sounds excellent, though.

I am up for two my self.

since I started the thread for the t-shirt idea in the SG-9 private forum, I'm going to make this one specific for the 901st shirt only, and the thread in SG-9 private forum for an SG-9 specific t-shirt. this will prevent me from doing double posts and such. I'll make the thread over command.net a sticky for any of our members that have not yet found their way over here.

I will probably need somebody to do some better changes/refine the disign when I find a good supplier that can do the screen printing proccess from jpeg or bmp...I will have to find out, hopefully I can get somebody local to do it... and that way I will be faster when I have a prototype ready..

below I what I came up with

--------------------------------------

Ok, I played around with a program on my laptop and modified these pics

I used the first digi pic of our 901st patch, thats the only one I have on the laptop at the time.

here is what the back will look like, but with the current version of our patch

and another that I modified for the front pocket area....although my idea is to not have a pocket on the shirtl

now with all this going on, I remember LT Bono had created a fictional deadalus class ship for the navy...so how about we create our own...

ideas, comments, it's an open floor guys...chime on in...

I like the ideas you've got for our shirt, James. If you want a copy of the final version of the 901st patch, I grabbed a copy of Phil's final design a little while back and stored it on my Image Event site at www.imageevent.com/erictank - I believe I put it in the Costumes section. So, go ahead and grab a copy of it for your own use, if you didn't save that one.

Speaking of patches - Riptide, did that 901st design get submitted to Dan?

I sent him the design via email before Dragoncon. I will check with him to make sure he got it and see what kind of time frame we are looking at. How many patches would we be able to get 1st time out ?
Rrok
Love the shirt design. I'd be interested in at least 1 XL, possibly two shirts.
Goomba
Thanks guys,
It is good to know you all like my ideas...I do tend to think that I am going overboard on this stuff. but I guess after helping with the patch idea yall are just going to let me run with my ideas, so long as they are good ones...which I dont mind biggrin.gif

anyway, here is an updated version with the actuall patch design..

the front pocket of the shirt

and the back of the shirt

I tried to see if cafepress could do a decent one. but apparently I have to set up a store, in order to do black t-shirts. and the back image will only be about 6in tall/wide if I dont set up a store. I'll look into doing a store, if it will be better than a local guy, after I check with a local t-shirt maker.
Riptide
We have a number of tshirt stores around here to look into, as well. Does anyone from Hampton Roads area want to volunteer to do some researching ?
CaptAres
Wow those are nice I'd love 2XXL

Hey!

The tee shirt idea looks incredible, as I've already noted on Command Net. As for the idea of a ficticious BC-304 for the team, I'm all for that too. I don't suppose our illustrious team leader will accept my suggested name for the Battlecruiser...

GALACTICA

...why not?
Riptide
Ummmmmm....No ! biggrin.gif

Even though that doesn't answer the question of 'why not,' I don't suppose you'll go for PEGASUS instead? biggrin.gif
Goomba
sounds like a cylon has infiltrated the forums
CaptAres
thats what I thought to
Riptide
Well....they don't call him Howling Mad for his singing voice....biggrin.gif

Next thing you know...we're going to have zombies rolling around in here.
CaptAres
the same person that I talked to you about doing our 901st patches also does t-shirts let me see if she can do them and what she will charge
