well those are really sweet costumes! i like how the underworld costume was tackled... I think Dan and Mindy must make a fantastic pair at conventions!

Anyone noticed on Mindy's Underworld costume, she is wearing Lara Croft's pistol rig and welding her pistols?? Nothing like recycling for a costume! Used the same rig, just took off the buckle for her Resident Evil 2 Alice costume! Actually that costume was research that I was doing to help someone else do an Alice costume! Mindy only wore it once and only for these pictures!

Yeah, I noticed that straight away. The belt buckle was a dead giveaway. On a side note, I had no idea Mindy was a welder!

Dan and I haven't been a fantastic pair at conventions - as of yet because I usually don't go and if I do I'm in jeans and a dance t-shirt helping him at the table (one day he'll come home with a mortgage payment...) Anyway Dan doesn't seem to like the costumes I like I would love to do a couples thing even as non sci-fi as hugh Heffner and a bunny but he's just not into it and I prefer not to do genderless costums I like to be a woman and look like a woman and play up my womanly assets. Dan seems to care a lot more about being cannon. In most of the costumes above I was his manaquin - my Laura croft and Resident Evil are both his experimentation to help someone else. However I'm going to be doing this on my own now and going to conventions with my costumes, next assignement is Danger Girl Abby Chase and maybe also G Girl. I should find a better Lara Croft picture too, I have much better boots in other pics.

I'm very close to infecting my wife with the costuming bug. We've been talking a lot about doing some couple costumes. On our list of possibilities is Zorro and Elena de la Vega, John Crichton and Aeryn Sun, and Cyclops and Pheonix.

I think a Hef and Bunny thing would be hilarious, but you would need at least 2 other bunnies around him at all times.

I don;t have a bunny costume but I do have a sexy nurse costume and a scoolgirl costume and well...others that haven't seen the light of day - only the neon lights of a grand night life LOL.

alright then- you HAVE to bring some next year!

I don't know Mindy....I think you looked great in the uniform ones!
