We have our new Admin!

James "Ghost" Conason has graciously volunteered to serve as our Team Administrative Officer for SG-17. James has been a member of SG-17 for close to a year now, and his dedication to Stargate and the SFH is unquestionable. Please congratulate him when you see him online!

Guys,
I'm sure all of you have read the roster, and have seen that there is a position open in the Team Command Staff... Here's your chance to tell me wht you would want to be the Team Administrative Officer!

POSITION: Team Administrative Officer
-- Combines Team Membership Officer and Clerical Specialist.
DUTIES: Handles all membership applications and candidate costume submissions. MUST coordinate with either myself or the ATL before approving or denying ANY costume submission. Coordinates with Divisional Leaders of SGH in various tasks determined by the Divisional Leaders. Handles any paperwork needed for any event SG-17 attends. Also is tasked with Treasury Roles.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDACY:

1. Must be a full member of SG-17 and in good standing. Honorary Members are not eligible.
2. Must be capable of maintaining accurate records pertaining to membership, finances, etc.
3. Must be active in SFH.
4. Must not hold any leadership position in SG-Command.net, at any level. (NO EXCEPTIONS. I know there's going to be some people asking why I'm bringing this up, and I'll be the first to say WHY, but not here. If you want to know why, PM me and I'll tell you, regardless of your membership, etc.)

All interested parties, please contact me or the Assistant Team Leader, and submit your resumes and why you want to be the Team Admin Officer here!

I know I am not an official member of SG-17 but if you would let me I can do it

Negative on that, i wouldn't be able to do the job justice, too much going on. I will do ALL I can to help the 17th and the club through our organization but I don't want to take a job I can't do well.

Well, I wouldn't mind doing the job myself. It would probably be a good job for me since I am good with numbers and will be around a computer every day to receive reports, along with having talked to the people who ran a few of the cons before.

I think we have a volunteer.

James, you are hereby named the Team Administrative Officer, effective immediately. Your first task as TAO will be to create a Master Contact List for the 17 Command Staff of all team members. We'll need names, e-mail addresses, and phone numbers (if available) for all members. Also, I will be checking with my bank on establishing an account for SG-17 so we can purchase supplies, etc. for whatever our needs are.
