Just wondering if anyone here has though of doing one of the costumes for the old CGI tv show reboot? I was watchign the 4th seasonon you tube and thoug hmm maybe a matrxi costume i could do i willpost screen caps soon but just thoughi would ask

Oh man, with all the crossovers and pop culture references, including stargate hommages, costumes can vary from Ash, all the way to Santa Clause.

I loved this show, and the two movies that came out a while back to pick up the series again.

Can't wait to see how you pull off the "eye" and Gun.

The one i am debating on either use a springer g-36 with some moods on it or maybe a scorpin pistol todo it. or i can just make one form scrath out of wood. i am not sure. Any ideas would help. The eye is also a problem i can do the scare over my eye but i am goign to see if there are any contacts out there i can use for it. I amAlso thinkign maybe velcro to attach the gun to the leg or maybe use one of those cellphone clips to hold it on not sure yet but i am workign one it. Reboot

Yes i will but hey it would defenetly be an interesting costume for dragon. I have hte pants, the vest shirt i have to work on , the boots and the wire wraps and chains i need to work on. the " Shoulder pad on his left shoudler i figure i cna make out of Foam pading. The gun is gona be hard though so any help anyone wants to offer let me know, or any woman who want to volenteer for andraia let me know too so i can figure out that cotume aswell. hmm who is darign enough to be Ansraia

Nah, she's not really orange. That's jsut ordinary flesh color.

You don't need the bra either: she's actually only about a b cup.

However, there is the fish scale outfit....and the blue hair.

if anyone has any ideas on the gun matrix uses let me know i am thinkig either a g36 or a scorpion pistol but any ideas let meknow i really want to make the gun look good.

Humm, the magazine needs to be thinner and the bottom angle more pronouned by about 30 degrees. Muzzle is a bit long, but you could use an M-16 muzzle this way, otherwise its about half a long. The rest looks pretty good given the quality of the screen cap I had to work with.

the break down for Matrix is
blue pants with a red strip i got that, i got a black vest and am workignon the gun and sholder pad thing


for Andria the pants will be streck pants and the top will either be a full coverage bra for the lovely woman wearing ti or i may make it out of a modifyied baby tie the lady can wear over a bra that way nothing pops out and no one gets any idea of undoing things, but i am just gettign my plan doen for it i will be ordeign the piece i need by thursday and suggestions will gladly be taken

Oh one more thing anyone know were i can get a gold color contact lens for my eye cheap if so post and let me know

As for keeping Gun on your leg, perhaps some well placed magnets sewn into the outer seam of the right leg and placed inside the side of Gun would help give that holster-less appearance. Whenever he'd hang it up, Gun'd just sort of click onto his leg, dunno how practical this would be for you, but it's worth considering.

the gun i am gong to use either magnets or Velcro to hold in place what i am doing is sewing some 1 inch black webbing around mt thigh like in the picture and attach the magnets or Velcro to that. And as for frisket well i was thinking about that and who knows may have a suprise up my sleeve for that well see. I als am getting the cheap plastic chain from a costume store for the belt on matrix i am actually starting the putting together of the Andria costume Wednesday night a good friend of mien who is tempest size is going to help me out also she wants a pair of the pants for herself, do not know why but oh well. well any more comments keep them coming i will post pics and the costume starts and move forward.

well the left shoulder pad is now done for matrix and here it is, I know the wire and Icons are missing but i am doing pics as i go so enjoy

i just looked up Andraia in my "The Art of Reboot" that i picked up at Anime North... She definatly has a tint to her skin, i am thinking it looks like a tan, basically.

The self tanning cream by Loreal does not streak and is safe to use on your face and body both, i think that would work just fine... Tempest looks WHITE like me, ( i bet the sun equals burn for you too!) so tanning cream might be your safer option.

As to the bra size.... that is not a b cup, *sigh*

theirs is about the least nasty and irritating to the skin.
