So who watched the finale? I was so happy that Fat Momma got the boot. Now I don't have to boycott Marvel Comics. I still think Major Victory would have made a better hero, but I'm sure Feedback will do well also. I wouldn't be surprised to see Victory and the others show up in Feedback's comics from time to time too.

On a side note, I'm seriously considering making a Major Victory costume.

I've tuned in to this show a few times and it really didn't appeal to me. So Fat Mama got dumped? God help any fast food places in her area!!

In my opinion the entire show was prescripted and paid actors. Nevertheless, I found most of the show entertaining. And in the end, that's what matters.

Fot those that didn't watch the show, Here's the superhero that won the contest:

For winning the competition, Feedback gets his own comic book produced by Dark Horse Comics, and an original Sci-Fi Saturday movie.

I loved it, was very fun and something NEW! Glad Feedback won, but I called it from day one... HE took it the most serious and wanted it the most! Great job! Can't wait to see what Stan will do with him and few the others!

I got to see the last three or four episodes before the finale...I was praying that fat mamma didnt make it...I would have prefered a finale between major victory and feedback. but I really want to see what stan does with the "the Dark Enforcer"

I looked the show up on IMDB.com and two thirds of the contestants have pretty good acting resumes, which irritateed me. I understand that acting is a job and they have as much a right to compete as say oh, the guy that changes my oil at jiffy Lube, or ex-military parachute riggers but It would have been honest to say that they were actors!!!!
Surprisingly Steele Chambers a.k.a. Dark Enforcer has no other listed acting gigs so he may indeed be a real guy after all.
When you get right down to it what I really am is jelaous that I wasn't on the show. I didn't know about the auditions or anything. I know I never would have gotten on the show but I would have loved to audition.
I'm still buying the DVD collection when it comes out! I have a thing for Monkey Woman....

Dark Horse comics is publishing the Feedback comic, not Marvel. And I was under the impression that it was really only going to be a one-shot issue or maybe a mini series. Dark Horse never handles supers comics too well
From the first episode my favorites were: Feedback, Major Victory, Monkey Woman, and Tyveculus.
I knew that despite her being there that Fat Momma was never really going to win. Face it, if she had won... who would buy her comic? No one, and it would be given away at every comic book store on Free Comic Book Day.

I agree. That was my feeling from just watching the trailer before the show ever started.

Yep... sadly as in all things we geeks enjoy, it all comes down to money. SG-1 costs too much to make. Comics only care about the bottom line so your favorite title is cancelled and we're forced to deal with annual crossover megaevents that restructure the universes. oy!
Oh and how stupid were the contestants? Rotiart? I saw him in that episode and realized it was Traitor backwards as I was attempting to figure out what his name meant.

SG-1 got cancelled because of ratings... Too many Stargate fans are not watching it on TV, but instead are downloading it... which does not help the show at all...

Which, in turn, all comes down to money. If fans aren't watching it on TV, they aren't watching the commercials that air, which means the corporate sponsors aren't getting their money's worth out of the air time, which means they pull their funding.

They need to make better commercials anyway....
I watch it live, I don't have this strange device called TIVO.
