I don't think I could pull of a lion costume, so I guess I mean the Lion Pilot costume.

You know...depending on which version you wanna do we could have a blue too (extra character). Princess was in blue in the newer cartoon that came out (with the blue lion), but in the old version she had a pink uniform with the blue lion, after Sven disappeared and she took over. So in theory we could have a Sven too...

I say we do the Comic book version. The suits resemble pilot suits, and aren't so skin tight. The princess was Pink there as well. I'll still stick with the Sven (black suit) though, cause.. well.. black is cool!

Also, I hope I didn't step on anyones toes... I moved the Voltron posts into their own topic and called it "Voltron Costuming." Apologies in advance if this was wrong to do.

I remember watching Voltron as a little girl!

Hell, I think I still have the Princess outfit I MADE my mother make for me for Halloween somewhere!

Course....it's a bit SMALL for me to fit into now!

I remember I SOOOOO wanted to be the princess I LOVED the blue lion...thought it was WAY cool!

The original anime version looks easy enough to do, the only real work would be making the helmet and the shoulder bells. With any luck, you might be able to get away with an off the shelf helmet and modify it to match but I don't know if that would be easier to do than making one from scratch. The shoulder bells could possibly be made from something off the shelf if you could find something like a plastic bowl but it might be just as easy to make from scratch as well.
