SG-9 is helping to organize and run a local convention named Fantasci here in Hampton, VA. Fantasci has been a growing con for the past 5 years and we have gotten large enough to take over the Hampton Roads Convention Center this year. If you would be interested in helping out with our Scifihero fan table, coming as a vendor, HELPING WITH SECURITY (hint, hint), or just coming out and having a great time....please contact Riptide and check out our website: fantasci-hrcc.com

Hey folks!

Again, sorry for being off the boards for so long but so damn much is happening all at the same time, we are struggling. Fantasci has had a huge turnover in staffing and now I am the Con Chair, with much of SG-9 staff taking positions for the convention. Right about now, SG-9 members hold more than half of the senior staff for Fantasci and are spending TONS of time trying to keep it on track and organized. Obviously, SG-9 and Scifihero will have one HUGE presence there and will be sponsoring the lion share of the event.

Now for some of the exciting news. SG-9 and BSG-9 are working together to have Richard Hatch as our Guest of Honor. Right now, our negotiations are almost complete and we will have finalizations done by Monday. If anyone is interestred in learning more, feel free to email me at wildklingon@aol.com. This is going to be big folks and after this, we are going to pass out for a solid week!!! biggrin.gif
