just to give everyone a quick update of what I've been doing with myself, last year had a fall at work 24/8/06 thursday , fell 13 meters, 39 feet when i lost grip on a wire ladder and the safety gear failed at the Boy From Oz Arena show here in adelaide, i puntured my Left lung, spleen and diaphram, broke all but two left side ribs , broke two on my right side, no spinal, neck or head injuries.

I was opertated on and put into a medical coma, came out of my coma on the friday night, then on the saturday morning i was woke to the sualtry sounds of wolverine himself Hugh Jackman, all i could was nod and give him the thumbs up as i was heavily medicated and it felt like i had been there several weeks, next streamed in family with cards and flowers, also some of the touring lighting department whom i had know from my years working in sydney with them came in joking and such but still i had tubes and such in my mouth so i couldn't talk at all.

On sunday i made major ground in my recovery i was taken off the respriator and the tubes where taken out and i was able to at least talk a few words, monday i was sent to the step down Unit able to see tv and talk heaps more still on morphine but at least that stopped the ketamine. the doctors kept on saying i was lucky to survive and with the "minimal" injuries that i sustained,

attached are 3 photos of what i looked like in hospital and a few weeeks out of hospital last year, i'm still carrying a large ammount of scar tissue above my spleen, I'm still currently on work cover payments, but hopefully getting a Data & Communications Installation Apprenticeship soon so yeah then i be able to start paying off my debts and get more into costuming...

Not the sexy nurse I would have hoped for, but very cool!
Blackhawk
Sounds like a little much to go thru just to see Hugh Jackman wink.gif tongue.gif . But glad to see that you survived to tell about it. Where would our Aussie team be with out you? Hope to see more of you in the forums.

Glad to hear you even survived that. That's quite a long drop. Good to have you back on board!
