Foam-iT!™ Series Rigid Urethane Foams
Smooth-On’s FOAM-iT!Ô Series consists of two-component rigid foams that are versatile and easy to use. FOAM-iT! products are available in 3lb., 5 lb., 8 lb., 10 lb. or 15 lb. per cubic foot densities. Parts A + B are mixed in equal amounts by volume (1A: 1B) and are poured into a mold or other form (apply release agent if necessary). Mixture will expand many times original volume (depending on which FOAM-iT! product you are using) and develop a uniform cell structure. Foam becomes tack free in about 4 - 6 minutes, develops handling strength in 20 minutes and fully cures in 2 hours. Note: FOAM-iT!™ 8 is measured and mixed 2A:1B by weight.
FOAM-iT!™ 8 is a unique, self-skinning foam with a finer, more uniform cell structure than the other FOAM-iT!™ products. FOAM-iT!™ 8 or 15 can be cast in blocks as a machine-able prototype modeling board. FOAM-iT!Ô products can also be used as a straight casting material, backfill material for hollow castings (adds structural strength) or as an encapsulation material, etc. They can be color pigmented and are used for a variety of art/craft, industrial design and special effect applications.

Rebound 25™ Brushable Silicone Rubber
Rebound™ 25 is an easy-to-use platinum-cure silicone rubber that self-thickens for making brush-on molds of almost any model. Mixed 1A:1B by volume (no scale necessary), Rebound™ 25 can be applied with a brush or spatula to vertical surfaces without sagging and will cure with negligible shrinkage to a soft, flexible rubber (Shore 25A).
3 to 4 layers are all that is necessary to make a strong, durable production mold for casting wax, gypsum, concrete or resins (urethane, polyester, etc.) And because Rebound™ 25 is a platinum silicone, it will last for many years in your mold library. Applications include reproducing sculpture, architectural restoration, making candle molds, etc.

Smooth-Cast™ 300 Series Liquid Plastics
The Smooth-Cast™ 300 Series of liquid plastics are ultra-low viscosity casting resins that yield castings that are bright white and virtually bubble free. Vacuum degassing is not necessary. They offer the convenience of a one to one mix ratio (one part A to one part B by volume).
The differences between them are pot life and demold time.
These resins readily accept fillers (such as URE-FIL 3 from Smooth-On) and can be pigmented (Smooth-Cast 325 accepts pigments better than the SC 300 series). Fully cured castings are tough, durable, machinable and paintable. They resist moisture and mild solvents. Applications for Smooth-Cast Liquid Plastics include reproducing small to medium size sculptures, cold cast bronze castings, making prototype models, roto cast pieces, special effect props and decorative jewelry.
