Pendragon Leather has some REALLY nice Farscape leather goods. I know Amezri has one of Aeryn's dusters and I'm going to order one of their John Crichton vests.

PULSE PISTOL!!! PULSE PISTOL!!!!

i need one help me please!!!!!!!! and Amerzi's jacket is beautiful.
Kronk and i were discussing this last night tho, technically it is not a duster, it is a very formal, fitted long coat, and does not resemble a duster at all.

i love the red lining. a duster is like what the Marlboro Man wears !

Check the member's store for the pulse pistol adi.

whoa, Dan - have you been actually collecting all those items? you must have spent a fortune!

I've bid several times on various Farscape items that have come up on eBay auction but always lost since Creation Entertainment tends to start with really high bids - and the winning bids are way up in the stratosphere

for example, in the last auction, somebody paid $500 for the complete set of patterns for Aeryn Sun's uniform - that's just for the PATTERN - not for any piece of the costume...

a pulsar pistol with holster had a STARTING bid of $1,500 - and it went up from there...I forgot to check back to see what it finally went for...

Nah, that's just his photo collection.

I spoke with Nicole from Pendragon Leather last night and she told me that it generally only takes them 2 weeks (plus shipping time) to custom make the vest to my measurments. That's pretty good considering that it's custom made to fit you.

Hmm....may want to check out Pendragon to get started on my Farscape outfit...glad that they do custom work, and it looks like they're close to canon (will need to double check, though)
Danger Kronk
They're as close as I can find... but they're pricey. I can afford the vest (thank you tax refund!) but not the trench coat to go with it. I may consider making the trench, as most of it seems to be wool. Only the shoulders and sleeves are leather.

I was considering just getting the Peacekeeper (or Commando, as they call it) jacket to use as my motorcycle riding jacket. That would be pretty wicked, but I think the buckle-up front would allow too much wind flow and not keep me warm enough.

for custom leather work, the prices aren't too bad

I have designer leather jackets that run about the price they charge for the custom jackets...

the leather seamtress I'm working with charges $100 an hour, so if you add the price of leather, plus pattern making, plus time to actually cut and sew the pieces together, it will cost me as much if not more to have it made locally...

(I figure that the Hak'tyl costume that I plan to put together will run me about $1,000 at the minimum...)
