I started watching this show on a whim more or less. I heard the premise and I thought, oh here we go.......if I see a cockroach the size of a city bus, I'm changing the channel *don't ask*.

Pretty much every attempt to pull off the post nuclear attack story line dosen't end well, and things get worse. With the robots, and the machines, and the zap zap, ow it hurts me!

However, I must give kudos to the team behind Jericho, they've suprised me three times in a row and have pretty much earned a spot in my tv viewing.

Jericho takes place in a stick in the grass small town. Peaceful, quite, serene. That is until a mushroom cloud appears on the horizon and with it, all signs of the outside world are cut off. No one knows what's happening, and they're scared. Rightfully so.

Focusing on a small town trying to get through nuclear fall out from a nuclear attack on the US. The cause and severity of which is unknown, but we get hints as the story progresses, and things get darker.

The characters are well rounded and developed, there's no one person off to the side acting like a distraction, well save for the stock boy with the Deliverance thing going on. Few shows have managed to do the "end of the world" thing and make it work without bringing in mass chaos and total global annihilation. Jerimiah and that british miniseries where a group got frozen for 50 years or something.

These folks don't know if they're the last or not, and what a relief to not see the ever popular, "We must repopulate the planet" line of thinking appear. They're all waiting, biding their time to know for sure just what happened around the world, and that's partly to do with the help of the town Mayor, Major Dad!

Anyhoo, my babbling must come to an end, hopefully unlike the show.

It's really getting good.

Hasta La bye bye.

I've been watching and I'm liking it so far; it's cool to see Gerald McRaney back on TV. The only thing about the show is that I'm not too sure about how long they can keep the show going for very long. Although it's very well written I'm just not too sure how many seasons they write based on the show's premise. But if they can keep Lost going for 3 seasons they can probably keep Jericho going for at least as long.

As Jericho is approaching it's Fall season finale (the big craze in plot driven shows this season it seems) this show is getting more and more interesting and curiouser and curiouser. It's going to be tough waiting for Jericho to come back since I know that it's going to end on a big cliffhanger before it picks up again.

Two big questions I can't wait to see answered: 1)Who exactly is Hawkins, is he really what he said he was to Grey? 2) Who exactly is behing the nukes? The Chinese or somebody else?

I started watching this show about a month ago..A buddy of mine was over, and mentioned he needed to get home so he could watch it...

well I got bored, and decied to check it out...Not bad at all.

I got to see the premier ep online, and tried watching the second ep, but my computer spends a few minutes to buffer just a minute...

and it would be nice to see the show renewed for a second season, but hey, it is a show we like...

i think the 'Chinese are your friends' was INSANE!!! and i just about died when you saw who all showed up.

let me ask you all this tho-- if supplies were cut off, what would you be crying over??? i mean, NO COKE???? *shakes head* i am crying just thinking about it!

I'm definatly ready for a second season, it was the only thing I watch on Wensday night.

as for supplies, hord it all, and make sure you have plenty of ammo and some easily converted to automatic weapons...and of course, classic cars so you dont have to worry about the computers being fried in the new ones.
