Hey guys,

Thought I would pass this on. Over at Vistaprint.com they make vinyl banners of whatever you send them. So, I figured if anyone wanted to take some of the logos from SaAB and make them into a banner for a room or flag at a con it would a be a good way. Every now and then Vistaprint will have a sale to get you to buy something and you can get a decent % off on the purchase. I believe a 3'x6' will run up to about 65 USD total, but it's kinda work ti for the unique item.

Also, if my buddy Pat deploys in August there, of all things, is a custom flag making company shop over in Iraq that he has done business with and I'll be glad to pass on more information on those silk screened flags once the avenue opens up.

Definitely keep us all informed about the silk screening flag possibility, I'm sure that there will be interest in getting custom flags silk screened. Maybe we can all pitch in and get an SF flag made for use in the D*Con parade.

Sounds interesting! I always regretted selling my Starship Troopers Mobile Infantry flag I had. It was pretty sweet.

Well, that's actually one of my goals is to make a SST FedNet flag as well. Except for the costuming side and toys I think I have almost everything else that is SST. heh.


Anyhow. I just finished talking with Terry, a member of Squad7/FLG/501st and he had talked about his brother getting a silk screened flag made while he was in Chile (or Brazil, missed the exact location) and the brother had a nice flag made when he was down there. I will look into this company as well and see if I can get a picture of the flag that was made for source quality.

I'm not looking to do any runs once all of the information is put together, but I'll make sure if I can get quotable prices it's per purchase and international shipping besides the USA for our overseas buddies.

I would LOVE one of those UN flags as long as it doesn’t cost a fortune. I wish I’d had one when I was active duty, I was always putting on odd banners and insignia when I’d run OPFOR against other units.
